Driven by a commitment to environmental and social progress, Linda began her career in the nonprofit sector, working in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change. With a background in environmental science and sustainability, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing mission-driven organizations today.
After choosing a less conventional path and relocating to Mexico, Linda built a remote marketing and communications career spanning more than a decade. She has partnered with founders, nonprofits, agencies, and growing businesses across the outdoor, travel, sustainability, and wellness industries, helping them translate complex ideas into compelling stories, develop effective marketing strategies, and achieve measurable results.
An avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, Linda spends her free time hiking, backpacking, trail running, camping, and discovering new places. Her adventures have included an overland journey from San Diego to Patagonia, cycling the length of France’s Atlantic coast, and exploring remote islands throughout Indonesia.
Today, Linda divides her time between San Diego, California, and Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

“Linda worked remotely with me for six years, managing marketing and partnerships for Bearfoot Theory. She was responsible for pitching and securing brand partnerships, developing proposals, generating media coverage, and ensuring we successfully delivered on all sponsored campaigns and collaborations.
She is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, professional, reliable, and an excellent communicator. She consistently took ownership of projects, followed through on commitments, and could always be counted on to deliver high-quality work. During her time with Bearfoot Theory, she also expanded her expertise in SEO, helping us strengthen our search visibility and remain competitive in Google.
Linda also played a key role in organizing Open Roads Fest, a 450-person van life gathering in Idaho. In addition to securing event sponsorships, she managed volunteers and helped oversee countless logistical details leading up to and during the event. Her ability to keep complex projects organized and moving forward was instrumental to the event’s success.
I loved working with Linda and recommend her wholeheartedly. Any organization would be fortunate to have her as part of their team.”

“I worked with Linda for about a year and a half while she was the Marketing Manager at Overland Expo. In that role, she owned all of our email marketing and social media, which meant she was effectively responsible for how we communicated with tens of thousands of attendees and exhibitors. It is not an exaggeration to say that without her steady hand, a lot of things would have fallen apart. She carried a huge load and did it with calm, clarity, and consistency.
Overland Expo is fast-paced, high-stakes, and constantly evolving, and she handled it with ease. She is thoughtful, grounded, and genuinely cares about the people on the other side of the screen. That shows in the way she communicates and the trust she builds with a community.
Linda is also just a good human being. Easy to work with, deeply reliable, and cares deeply about what she does. She’d be an excellent fit for any community-focused role, especially one that needs someone who can think strategically and still execute day to day without losing focus on what matters.”
